Pete Turner has re-engineered the traditional resonator design, with the acoustics in a Marrakech being produced from the top of the guitar too, and not from a soundwell as in a standard resonator. It is the combination of the body’s exotic woods, and the ring and tail piece design that produces the unique sound of our resonators, giving that hybrid tonal quality.
The Marrakech® is the definitive resonator, designed by Pete Turner. The guitar is lovingly hand-crafted from woods carefully selected for both their tonal quality and sheer striking good looks. The spider and cone are imported from the USA, with the uniquely designed cover-plate engineered by Pete. Each guitar is then expertly and professionally set up.
